Buenas noches familias Cedar.

Good evening Cedar families. This is a reminder we have a supply pick-up scheduled for this week between the hours of 9am and 3pm. Due to the possibility of inclement weather, we have changed the location to the gym. All parents will drive through the main parking lot to the rear of the school to the student drop off / pick up lane. Students will get out of their car wearing a mask to pick up their supplies in the gym. All students need to check with their teachers to determine which classes they will be picking supplies up for. Have a good evening.

Good evening parents, starting January 19, 2021, your child will be taking their iReady reading assessment in their language arts classes via Zoom. Please remind your child to be on time, find a quiet place to work, and try their best on the assessment. We also ask the students not to ask for help on the assessment so we can get an accurate level at which they are reading and can better support them in the classroom.

Good afternoon Spartan families. We made it through the first semester of the 20-21 school year! We want to thank all of our families and staff for their hard work and dedication in making sure all of our students are getting the best education possible despite these unprecedented times. It truly does take a village. Here are a couple important reminders as we wrap up the 1st semester: December 21st through January 1st is our winter break. Please take time to rest and rejuvenate so we can start the 2nd semester strong. We will see all of our students back in our distance learning classrooms on January 4th. Grades will not be mailed home until after winter break. Please be sure to check Infinite Campus for final end of semester grades. When we return from our winter break, our Wednesdays will look a little bit different for our students. All students will be checking in via Zoom with their 1st period teachers from 8:55am-9:25am. Attendance will be taken during that period. We will be sharing more information with the students as it gets closer. Stay healthy and safe and enjoy your much deserved break. Go Spartans!

When we return from the winter break, our students will be learning about sexual health education per the California Healthy Youth Act. Please see the attached parent acknowledgement letter (if we don't hear from you, your child will participate in the curriculum) for information on the board approved curriculum we will be using along with other important dates and information related to the curriculum.
